These terms govern your use of sMARTBIS, a funding-matching platform operated by Konsortium Usahawan Madani (KUSMA). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Your account
- You must give accurate registration details and verify your email address before using the matching feature.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account.
- One account per person. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
2. What matching does, and what it does not do
- Matching runs entirely on the business profile you fill in yourself. We do not verify your answers against any government register, credit record or other external source.
- Results are recommendations to help you find programs worth exploring. They are not an eligibility decision, an endorsement, or any form of approval.
- Every funding program belongs to its own agency. Applying, assessing and approving are entirely that agency's process, under that agency's rules and timelines.
- Program details are reproduced from information supplied by or published by the agencies. Details can change without notice, so confirm anything important with the agency before you rely on it.
3. Subscription plans and your matching allowance
- Each plan includes a set number of matching runs. The allowance covers the whole subscription rather than a single day, and does not reset on any date.
- Re-running an unchanged profile returns the same results and does not use a run. Only a changed profile does.
- Every eligible program is shown to every user. A plan meters how many matching runs you get, not how many results you are allowed to see.
- A plan lasts until its allowance is used up rather than expiring on a date. Buying the same plan again tops the allowance up.
- We may change plan pricing or features. Changes do not reduce an allowance you have already paid for.
4. Vouchers and discount codes
- A plan voucher grants the plan stated on it and may only be redeemed once. Any matching runs still unspent on your current plan are carried over and added to the new allowance.
- A voucher's validity dates are the deadline for redeeming the code. They do not limit how long the plan it grants lasts.
- A discount code reduces the price of a plan and is entered during checkout rather than on the redemption page.
- Codes cannot be exchanged for cash, extended, or reissued once redeemed, expired or cancelled.
5. Payment and refunds
- Prices are shown in Ringgit Malaysia (RM).
- Purchases are final. Once a plan is activated, the payment is not refundable.
- We may cancel a purchase and reverse what it granted if the payment is reversed, disputed or found to be fraudulent.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false information, or impersonate another person or organisation.
- Attempt to bypass your matching allowance, plan restrictions or any other access control.
- Copy, scrape or redistribute the program data in bulk, or use automated tools against the platform.
- Interfere with the platform's operation or security, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
7. Content and ownership
- The platform, its design and its compiled program data belong to KUSMA or its licensors, and may not be reused commercially without written permission.
- Testimonials you submit may be published on the platform. Do not submit anything you do not have the right to share, and we may decline or remove any submission.
8. Availability
- The platform is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may suspend it for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control.
- Features may be added, changed or withdrawn as the platform develops.
9. Limitation of liability
- To the extent permitted by law, KUSMA is not liable for any loss arising from a funding application, a rejected application, a decision you take based on match results, or any inaccuracy in program information supplied by an agency.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law.
10. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
- You may close your account at any time. Closing it does not refund an active plan or any matching runs left unused.
11. Changes to these terms
- We may update these terms as the platform changes. The current version is always the one published on this page, and continuing to use the platform after an update means you accept it.
12. Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
