• Usage data — activity logs such as entering and refreshing matches, used to meter the matching allowance included with your plan and to improve the service.

Important: sMARTBIS matching is based on the information you declare yourself in your profile. We do not verify this data with any external party or government database. Match results are recommendations, not official approval of any program.

What we use the data for:

• Running the matching algorithm to recommend funding programs relevant to your profile.
• Managing your account, your subscription and the matching allowance it includes.
• Sending account-related emails or notifications (you may unsubscribe at any time).
• Improving the accuracy and usability of the platform.

Storage & security: Your data is held in a controlled database with reasonable security measures. Passwords are never stored in plain text. While we work to protect your data, no online system is 100% secure.

Data sharing: We do not sell your personal data. It is not shared with third parties for marketing. Data may only be disclosed where required by law, or to protect the rights and security of the platform.

Your control & rights:

• Update or correct your profile information at any time from the profile page.
• Delete your account — this removes the associated profile data.
• Unsubscribe from notification emails using the link in those emails.

Cookies & sessions: We use the session cookies required to keep you logged in and to maintain security (CSRF). These cookies are essential to the basic functioning of the platform.
